Your clients follow you. When you go Premium, clients you met through the pool are linked to your profile.

Cancellations
A client who cancels doesn’t cost you your morning.
When booking, the client registers their card. Your commission is only taken once the lesson has taken place.
More than 72 hours before
The client gets their deposit back as a credit. No commission is taken from you.
Less than 72 hours before, or no-show
The client is charged 50% of the lesson price, 100% if they do not show up. That amount is paid to you.
Bad weather or closed lifts
Lesson postponed free of charge or client refunded, with no commission for anyone. Closure decided by the resort, or by you for safety reasons.
You cancel
The client is refunded and the request goes back to the pool. Repeated cancellations can lead to removal from the pool.
Protection applies to bookings paid online through SkiRDV.

Requirements
Who can join SkiRDV?
- Who can join SkiRDV?
- Instructors who hold the French State alpine ski diploma (Diplôme d’État, or a recognised equivalent) and an up-to-date sports instructor professional card, and who work as self-employed professionals.
- I already work for a ski school. Can I join SkiRDV?
- Yes. Most instructors are self-employed, including within ski schools, and remain free to teach outside them: in 2026 the French Competition Authority sanctioned the exclusivity clauses that prevented it. If you are an employee of an organisation, simply check your employment contract.
- What if I’m a trainee instructor?
- A trainee instructor teaches under the authority of a school and their mentor: they cannot yet work alone. You can join SkiRDV as soon as you obtain your State diploma.
- Which documents are required?
- Your diploma, your sports instructor professional card and your professional liability insurance certificate. They are checked before your first SkiRDV lesson.
