This policy explains how SkiRDV processes the personal data of skiers, instructors and visitors to the skirdv.com website, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act (loi Informatique et Libertés).

Data collected
Skiers and families
- Identity and contact details: first name, last name, email, phone, language.
- Lesson participants: first name, year of birth, ski level and notes useful to the instructor. When children take part, this information is entered by the account holder, who declares they hold parental authority.

Instructors
- Identity, contact details, resorts, languages, specialities, rates and public profile.
- Professional documents: State diploma, professional card, professional liability insurance certificate, SIRET number and, where applicable, identity document. They are stored in a private space and only viewed by the SkiRDV team in charge of verification.

Website visitors
- Information sent through the forms (waiting list, pre-registration, contact, application).
- Technical data needed for security: IP address and browser signals analysed by the Cloudflare Turnstile anti-bot service.
- Anonymous audience statistics, measured without cookies (Cloudflare Web Analytics).

Who has access
- The instructors and clients concerned, to organise a lesson: the instructor receives the client’s contact details and the participants’ information; the client receives their instructor’s details.
- The SkiRDV team, within the limits of its tasks.
- Our technical providers, acting on our instructions: Cloudflare (hosting, database, document storage, anti-bot, audience measurement), Brevo (sending emails and managing contacts), Google (sign-in with a Google account, if you choose it), RXD (AI analysis for the AI coach, for the images sent for analysis), Anthropic (automatic translation of texts written by users, such as instructor profiles) and, once online payment is offered, an approved payment provider.
- Skitrust, a partner service for skier profiles and level certification, when your SkiRDV account is linked to your Skitrust profile (see “Skitrust profile” below).
Your data is never sold.
AI coach
When you request an analysis, your video stays on your device: only about twenty frames are extracted from it. Only these frames, their position in the video and the debrief language are sent to RXD, our AI analysis provider, which returns the debrief: neither your name nor your email address. These frames and the result (level, advice, date) are kept in your account, in a private space, and can only be seen by you and the SkiRDV team. You can delete an analysis and its frames at any time from your account.
Skitrust members: the analysis credits offered by Skitrust and your past Skitrust coach analyses are carried over to SkiRDV. They are attached to your SkiRDV account when you sign in with the same email address as on Skitrust, or when your accounts are linked. The frames of analyses carried over from Skitrust remain hosted by Skitrust; to erase them, delete them from Skitrust as well or write to us.
Skitrust profile
If you have a Skitrust account with the same email address, verified on both sides, your SkiRDV account is linked to it automatically when you sign in. You can also link it by opening SkiRDV from the Skitrust app. SkiRDV then receives your first name, last name, photo, Skitrust status and ski level with its source, as well as your year of birth, to display them on your skier card and prefill your profile. Skitrust also passes on the profiles of the children you manage in Skitrust: their first name, year of birth and level, never their surname. Finally, it passes on your accepted contacts on Skitrust (family, friends, instructors), with what already appears on their public Skitrust page: name, Skitrust username and verified professional role. SkiRDV uses this only to suggest adding them to your family and friends and to show you your instructors who are on SkiRDV. You can stop this sharing in Skitrust, in the settings of linked schools.
In the other direction, SkiRDV passes on to Skitrust the levels recorded by your instructors in your lesson reviews, and the AI coach analyses you assign to yourself. They appear on your Skitrust profile as assessed by a SkiRDV instructor. You can remove SkiRDV from your linked schools in Skitrust at any time: SkiRDV then receives nothing more and erases what Skitrust had passed on for your card.
Instructors verified on Skitrust: if you agree to it on Skitrust, SkiRDV receives your name, photo, date of birth and phone number (to prefill your sign-up), as well as your diploma and professional card already verified by Skitrust. Your identity document is never passed on. These copies join your SkiRDV instructor file, kept as long as your instructor profile exists and deleted with your account. If you withdraw your consent on Skitrust, SkiRDV retrieves nothing more; a file that has already been approved is not deleted automatically, but you can ask us to do so.
Transfers outside the European Union
Some providers, such as Cloudflare, Google or Anthropic, are based in the United States. These transfers are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
For the AI coach, RXD, our AI analysis provider, relies on an AI model provider that may process the images sent for analysis outside the European Union.
